Faces of Truro Live
Around this time last year we did our first live broadcast from My Home Mercantile with our friend, Miriah.
The topic? Gift Ideas.
The response? CRAZY!
Our viewers loved it (and so did we) so we’re back again in the little shop of a million great gift ideas. Today we’re bringing you up to speed on what’s new in the shop and why now is the perfect time to visit My Home Mercantile.
My HOME Mercantile
#FACESOFTRUROLIVE Episode 8
In this episode, we cover what My HOME Mercantile is along with a million reasons you should visit for your holiday shopping this year. Miriah also tells us about an initiative that’s near and dear to her heart and how you can get involved and give back. Here’s a little breakdown but you’ll want to watch the show for the full details.
>> [3:30] Meet Miriah; Owner of My HOME Apparel & My HOME Mercantile
>> [5:30] The Shoebox Project: An initiative to help local women in need. Miriah tells us about how simple it is for you to get involved this year.
>> [10:23] Gift ideas galore! We cover 15+ gift ideas on the show but there are literally hundreds in the shop and online. Visit www.myhomemercantile.com
>> [20:00] My HOME Mercantile is also the official retailer for My HOME Apparel with locations in Truro, Mic Mac Mall and Moncton.
>> [25:13] What Miriah says is the very best thing about living and working in Truro.
We loved visiting Miriah again in her fabulous shop and adding ALL THE THINGS to our own wish list this year. It also leaves an impression any time a biz owner is passionate about giving back to the community and Miriah certainly is. Between working to end homelessness in Canada, the shoebox project and many other initiatives she participates in throughout the year – we’re proud to call her a friend.
What did you learn in this episode? Did anything surprise you? We’d love to hear it!
